It was just a fitting option for a brief sojourn in Portsmouth with excellent value for money. The staff helped me locate my lost wallet, which was a relief. If traveling with a pet, be ready for an additional deposit fee.

A bold move that proved rewarding!
This place exceeded expectations with a stellar location adjacent to eateries and bars. The spacious room was comfortable, catering to our family needs magnificently. The lobby staff was prompt and friendly, accommodating our requests well. While there's no breakfast, the amenities would keep us returning for more.

The pet-friendly policy is a nice touch.
I had to wait over 10 minutes at the front desk for assistance upon arrival, which was quite frustrating. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. the floors were dirty enough to turn our socks black. Additionally, there was no remote for the TV, and I had to return to the front desk to acquire one, which added to the overall feeling of neglect.

The location was convenient, allowing easy access to local attractions. The beds were clean, which was a relief. Unfortunately, I had to wait for 10 minutes at the front desk before anyone attended to us. The room itself felt a bit neglected. the floors were dirty and turned our socks black. The bath towels were frayed and worn thin, not the standard I expected. I noticed that there was also no coffeemaker in the room, which would have been a nice touch. Plus, the TV was left on at full volume without a remote, and I had to go back to the front desk for it. The overall atmosphere felt a bit run down, losing a lot of charm due to these issues. I appreciate the pet-friendly policy, as that’s a major reason we choose this hotel. But cleanliness and maintenance need some serious attention.

We hit the Virginia Zoo and the Virginia Aquarium, both awesome experiences. Plus, the affordable rates made it easy to enjoy. Keep in mind, it's best to reach out to the staff if you need anything—they're friendly and helpful!
One downside was the noise from neighboring rooms. it could get pretty loud at night. People were slamming doors, which made it harder to get rest.
